Our client is seeking a Journeyman Plumber to support their commercial services team. You’ll tackle service calls as they come in, visit various job sites, and work directly with clients to support their needs while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a professional standard.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

The key job functions are:

• Respond to service calls across multiple commercial sites, diagnosing plumbing and mechanical system issues.
• Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, backflow devices, fixtures, and heating systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components such as pumps, valves, hot water systems, boilers, and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Assess job requirements on-site and provide accurate recommendations, repair strategies, and timelines.
• Communicate clearly with clients, providing updates, explaining issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with other trades, site supervisors, and internal team members to coordinate work safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Ensure all work meets code requirements and company quality standards.
• Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and documentation.
• Operate and maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and safe work practices.

Education:

• Journeyman Plumber certification is required

Qualifications: 

• Valid class 5 driver’s license is required
• Clear RCMP check is required

Experience:

• 3+ years experience in commercial plumbing is required

Base Salary: $45/hr+

• Salary based on experience
• Full benefits package included

Work Hours:

• 40 hours per week

• This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
