What do you do at About Staffing?

As a Corporate Recruitment Specialist, I work alongside our corporate clients for any of their short-term, contract, or temporary to direct hire staffing needs. This involves everything from creating engaging job postings, reviewing job applications, screening candidates, booking and conducting interviews, coordinating and liaising with clients, and finally, preparing candidates to begin their new roles.

What do you like most about working at About Staffing?

Hands down our company culture. I have a BIG personality and have a strong value for people and the connections I build with them. I can honestly say that throughout my time working with About Staffing, I have gained amazing friendships within our team and look forward to every day because of them.

What is one skill you are currently working on?

Trying to pick just one skill to work on is challenging. That being said, decisiveness is probably my answer… maybe.

What was your first job?

I had a few jobs here and there when I was younger, but my first REAL job was as a Sales Associate in a retail store.

What job interview question do you hate the most?

Hmm… probably questions that don’t allow candidates to showcase their ideals, dreams, and personal attributes.

What are the best skills you bring to the job?

I would say it’s a mix between my interpersonal skills and my determination to get the job done.

What was your favourite meal growing up?

Literally anything with pasta.

Favourite local take-out spot?

OEB Breakfast Co. or Una Pizza & Wine.
