ABOUT the Organization:
About Staffing opened in 1996 in Calgary, with 2 part time employees, and Founder Sharlene Massie developed systems and processes, databases and a deep presence in the community. Internally, we now have a connected busy team comprised of staffing specialists, customer service, and administrative support. We fill temporary, temporary to direct hire, and direct hire for office and industrial sectors. We are looking to add to our team for the summer, 2019.

ABOUT the Position:
The position will start on May 6 and continue for about 4 months. This is a Monday to Friday, 30 - 35/hr workweek, with flexibly around start/finish time (during regular business hours)
The student admin position will support About Staffing’s business development efforts and be responsible for related document and database management. This will include conducting research for our RFP process, customizing proposals, and backing up the admin team as needed.

Friendly and professional, motivated and engaged, a genuine team player
Excellent communication with superior verbal and written English skills
Strong research and proofreading ability, accurate and detail oriented
The ideal candidate will have an admin background, with some experience in marketing and/or public relations
Junior to intermediate skills in MS Office, and comfortable using technology
Must have a valid driver’s license

ABOUT the Compensation:
Salary will be $19.00 per hour, paid weekly.
