From the first meeting I had as a job candidate, I loved the atmosphere of the office. Not only is the physical office beautiful, the entire team is welcoming and warm.

I’ve recently had a personal epiphany and have begun working on my emotional responses. I tend to pick up on other people’s emotions and am trying to separate emotion from business- but it is really hard!

From the time I was 14, I have always had a job. My first summer job was working at an A&W- never in the kitchen, always as a cashier. My first job after school was in Property Management and kickstarted my career in Marketing.

I have always struggled with the “Tell me about yourself” question. As an open book, I am always willing to tell you what is happening in my life, about book I’m reading or my most recent Netflix binge- but when it comes to bragging about my work background I tend to freeze up not knowing what a hiring manager wants to know that they didn’t read in my resume.

I am always willing to jump into a project- but I like to take a step back, see the data, review and make recommendations before jumping into things. I’m not quiet, I’m listening and making a plan!

I was a picky kid- so take out night was always the best night!
