When did you start at About Staffing?
Why do you LOOK FORWARD TO MONDAY?
Monday always offers a fresh start. I have the opportunity to set intentions and goals for the week to keep me on track and set myself up for success. Then, at the end of the week, I can measure my accomplishments, take the weekend to rest and reset, then start all over again!
What makes you YOU at About Staffing?
I am sincerely committed to teamwork and will do whatever it takes to help my colleagues, and About Staffing as a whole, thrive. I am a sponge and am enthusiastic to learn as much as I can every single day.
What expertise do you bring to About Staffing?
I bring a multitude of experience to About Staffing. I started my career in Sales, then worked my way up to Training and Development and even got some time to explore the Marketing sector. I have also spent some time in the Travel industry. All in all, I consider myself to be a chameleon of sorts; I’m well rounded with various experience and I’m adaptable to changing situations, people and environments.
What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
In my downtime, you can find me putzing around in the garden or tending to my houseplants with my cat Millie by my side. I am also a lover of singing and dancing; I fancy myself as a karaoke superstar and living room performer.
What’s one interesting fact about yourself?
One of my first jobs out of university was as a Flight Attendant for a small charter company here in Calgary. One of our contracts provided me with the opportunity to work for the United Nations Humanitarian Air Service World Food Programme. I was based in Kabul and spent 50 days flying citizens and UN workers all around Afghanistan and Pakistan. The Hindu Kush mountains were a breathtaking sight!
