Our Calgary client is seeking a Human Resource Manager to join their team.
ABOUT The Position
This is an ever-growing company that requires a positive, outgoing self starter who will work as a direct support to the CEO in continued development of the 'not so' pre-established HR department. This role will include a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to managing policies, procedures, on-boarding/off-boarding of staff, payroll (compensation & benefits), WCB account management, vendor relations, maintaining the office facilities, etc.
5+ years of relevant HR Management experience, ideally having created an HR department with little to no foundation. Someone highly self-motivated, self-directed, and works independently toward objectives with a sense of urgency. Ideally will be familiar within payroll processes in order to provide backup to the Controller as needed.
