Our SE client is seeking a Project Coordinator / Technologist & Junior Estimator. This client is a family owned company who have a great culture within their organization. A suitable candidate will have a Degree or Diploma in Architectural Sciences, Civil Engineering Technologist or Project/ Construction Management. They must possess a high level of interpersonal skills as well as technical skills. The right candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and be proficient in MS Excel and MS Project. Our client is a family owned contracting company specializing in specialty projects including structural restoration and post tension. They have been building strong and lasting relationships within Western Canada for over 30 years. ABOUT the Position

Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Co-Ordinator/ Technologist & Junior Estimator will be responsible to:

Assist with determination of project requirements

Assist in drafting project proposals, RFP’s, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules

Effectively communicate with clients and customers to ensure their needs are met

Create and implement new systems and process

Work with MS Office Suite of products including MS Project and Excel

Go out to site with the Senior Project Manager

Track progress of projects as well as track costs and report data to the Senior Project Manager and Office Manager

Keep team informed of project status and client relations at all times

Work Conditions:

An office environment with occasional site visits. The successful candidate will be working approximately 44 hours each work week. Hours typically 7:00a.m.- 4/4:30p.m.


A Degree or Diploma in Architectural Sciences, Civil Engineering Technologist or Project/ Construction Management

3-5 years supporting a Project Manager

Experience with RFP’s and tenders

Great technological abilities and proficient in MS suite

Comprehensive knowledge of building development and restoration

Impeccable eye for detail

Flexible and adaptable to change

Great organization skills and abilities

A valid driver’s license

ABOUT The Compensation

A competitive salary ranging between $55,000- $60,000 annually as well as a great benefits plan will be offered.
