ABOUT The Client:
Our Client is a Calgary based company in a niche market who completes production and installation of interiors. They are very busy and work on up to 250 projects per year. This company is the leading expert in the entirety of Western Canada. Our client has in house design, manufacturing and installation staff. The company is expanding with high demand. They are looking for an all-rounder who is willing to take on multiple projects and tasks with ease.
You are hardworking, looking to grow with a company and to progress. You are able to wear many different hats and are not afraid to step outside of your task box. You will enjoy meeting with clients and have great interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Project Coordinator working in a warehouse setting with designers, manufacturers and installers. You have experience with scheduling, directing, estimating, budgeting, and meeting customer quality expectations.
Job Responsibilities
• Work alongside the president and sales consultant on a daily basis
• Efficiently run and coordinate multiple projects with a high level of professionalism
• Use previously acquired knowledge to effectively run operations and bring new ideas to the team
• Attend project meetings, which may include travel as far as Western Saskatchewan
• Give estimates and costs to both client and company
• Coordinate and engage with staff to meet deadlines and needs of clients
• Contribute ideas and resolutions to design team and production staff
• Assist sales team with various tasks
• Provide status reports to upper management
• Other duties, as assigned*
Skills & Requirements
• Post-secondary education in Project Management or related field
• No less that 3 years experience in similar role
• Strong industrial knowledge
• Strong understanding of blueprints and schematics
• Advanced computer skills and competency in Microsoft Windows OS, Excel, Word, CAD
• Ability to show versatility and resourcefulness when problem-solving
• Great time management and multitasking skills
• High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills
• Must have valid driver’s licence
